Large Professor, the man, the myth, the legend, is coming to Los Angeles! The QB beat master-mind behind some of the cornerstone sounds of real rap, will be rocking the West Coast this month! Its hard to think about East Coast Hip-Hop music without Large Professor's name coming to mind.

The man is responsible for so many classics songs and artist's careers that it's uncanny! Large Professor has a new album out called "Professor @ Large", and it's a welcome return to the real boom bap sound! The lead single, "Key To The City" is a bouncy, horn infused future anthem, with the energy to lead a house party and get the people moving! P says he's tired of the "slow jam rhythm" and provides a smooth floor filler track! Nice intro to the album, which knocks from start to finish. I plan on giving it a full listen and review soon, and plan on catching the man rock Pasadena, to get the full effect!

This super rare appearance from Xtra P is yet another home run booking for LA rap promoters Chinky Eyed LA! They are consistent in bringing the real rap culture to the Hollywood area, and this show is another one for the history books.

While I look forward to the show, I would love to have a sit down with him and chop it up over the industry and his wonderful Hip-Hop filled life.
