Soulja Boy has responded, with a video that looks like it was shot in his mom's living room. He address the whole incident, and hits Ice-T with a few good jabs. The funny thing about the clip is that, Soulja Boy actually sound much more articulate and mature in his responses, once he stops laughing at how old Ice-T is. In between him snapping on Coco's man, he has a few moments of clarity and addresses Ice T in a direct manner. At one point he looks into the camera and tells T that he should be ashamed of himself for talking to a teenager like that. On that part, I agree.
I think the whole thing is funny...everybody know Souljah Boy aint Hip-Hop like Rakim, KRS, or Nas. SB even seems to acknowledge that and gives it up to the old school. On the low, I'm pretty sure he is tired of his own songs just as much as we are. Yeah the songs are annoying, but when grown folks curse him, he seems to handle it in a more mature manner, if that's possible for a 17 year old who runs around saying yeaaw, or whatever the hell it is SB says in that song.
The OGs come off worse in the long run, sad to say, as Ice-T's eat a dick comment will go down in hostory as either a Michael Jackson moment, or child abuse case
I joke..I kid...
Souljah Boy was right about another thing too. Ice T does have a new album coming out. It's called Black Ice , and I'm going to the album release party in Long Beach Tuesday June 24th. Should be a hell of a night. If I get a chance, I'll ask Ice about the whole thing, see what he has to say! Stay tuned!
